QND celebrates unity and resilience, says Ambassador of Thailand

Doha, Qatar: Ambassador of Thailand to Qatar H E Sira Swangsilpa has said that in 2025 Qatar demonstrated outstanding leadership in conflict mediation and humanitarian diplomacy, championing dialogue and the principles of international law.

“On the occasion of Qatar National Day 2025, I extend my warmest congratulations to the leadership and people of the State of Qatar. This day celebrates Qatar’s remarkable achievements and the unity and resilience that continue to define the nation,” the Ambassador said.

“In 2025, Qatar demonstrated outstanding leadership in conflict mediation and humanitarian diplomacy, championing dialogue and the principles of international law. These values strongly resonate with Thailand and reflect the foundations of our own foreign policy.Thailand is deeply grateful for Qatar’s vital support in securing the safe release and return of Thai nationals earlier this year - an act of friendship we will always remember.”

He added, “This year marked the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Qatar. Our ties have grown stronger through high-level exchanges. Cooperation across key sectors has continued to expand. The Embassy has worked closely with Qatari partners on environmental conservation and sustainable development, including mangrove restoration and joint initiatives with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Qatar University, Earthna, and Qatar Museums.”

He further said, “Thailand greatly values its close and friendly ties with Qatar. The Royal Thai Embassy remains committed to further advancing cooperation and strengthening mutual understanding. I wish Qatar and its people continued peace, prosperity, and harmony.Happy Qatar National Day.”
