Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced that 21 out of its 31 health centers will be operating during the National Day holiday, Thursday, December 18.
The on-duty health centers will provide family medicine and supporting services continuously from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. during the National Day holiday.
These services will be available at the following centers: Al Wakra, Al Mashaf, Al Thumama, Airport, Rawdat Al Khail, Omar bin Al Khattab, Al Sadd, West Bay, Al Ruwais, Al Khor, Leabaib, Umm Slal, Gharafa Al Rayyan, Khalifa City, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Al Rayyan, Mesaimeer, Muaither, Al Sheehaniya, and Al Wajbah.
Dental services at these centers will operate from 7am to 10pm. Al Jumailiya Health Center will operate on an on-call basis 24 hours a day.
South Wakra, Umm Ghuwailina, Al Waab, Abu Nakhla, Umm Al Seneem, Al Ghuwayriyah, Al Dhaayen, and Qatar University health centers will be closed during the National Day holiday, while Al Kaaban and Al Karaana centers will receive urgent cases for adults.
PHCC will provide 24-hour urgent care services during the holiday at 13 health centers: Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Kaaban, Al Karaana, Al Ruwais, Umm Slal, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, and Al Wajbah.
Seven health centers will receive urgent pediatric cases during the holiday: Al Ruwais, Umm Slal, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, and Al Wajbah.
Specialty clinics will be available according to patients' pre-scheduled appointments during both the morning and evening periods.
Ophthalmology, dermatology, and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinics will be available at Leabaib and Rawdat Al Khail health centers from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10pm.
Premarital Screening will be available at Leabaib Health Center from 7am to 2pm, and at Al Mashaf Health Center from 4pm to 10pm.
The Community Call Center, reachable at (16000), will provide medical consultation services around the clock.
