Qatar and Britain discuss bilateral ties

London: The second meeting of the Forum on Qatar- British bilateral dialogue (UK-Qatar Partnership) was held here, chaired by Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, and the Middle East Minister at the British Foreign Office Tobias Ellwood.

The two sides discussed a number of bilateral issues related to security, defence, trade, investment, development, education, and culture and ways of enhancing them.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward, the Duke of York, met at Buckingham Palace with Assistant Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation, where they discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations and issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador Yousuf bin Ali Al Khater, Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri and the accompanying delegation.
