Syria situation 'worsening': Russian military

Moscow: Russian military said Saturday that the situation in Syria is getting worse, blaming rebels for more than 50 attacks on regime forces and civilians in 24 hours.

"The situation in Syria is worsening," said Russian General Vladimir Savchenko. "In the past 24 hours, the number of attacks have risen sharply," with 55 attacks on government positions and civilians.
