Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) has concluded its activities for the 2025-2026 academic year under its “Your Health, Your Success” programme, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to promote health awareness and encourage positive health behaviours among school students.

The programme reached 3,100 male and female students across 124 public and private schools, with activities delivered through workshops and interactive sessions.

QCS said the programme focused on raising students’ health awareness, promoting healthy behaviours, encouraging physical activity and fostering a culture of prevention and early detection.

In a social media post yesterday, QCS expressed its appreciation to its partners for their cooperation and continued support in implementing awareness programmes and initiatives that contribute to improving school health and enhancing students’ quality of life. “Together, we continue our journey toward a more aware and healthy society,” the society said. The programme forms part of QCS’s ongoing efforts to strengthen health education among young people and encourage preventive health practices within the school community.

Through interactive activities and educational workshops, the initiative sought to equip students with knowledge and practical awareness that can contribute to healthier lifestyles and greater attention to disease prevention and early detection. The society said the achievements recorded during the academic year reflected the importance of continued cooperation between health and education institutions.
