Babyshop has introduced its latest ‘Back to School’ collection featuring over 60 different designs of school essentials from uniforms and bags to water bottles, lunch boxes and stationary pouches.
Babyshop’s collection features exclusive ranges from Spiderman, Batman, Transformers and Ferrari for the boys, and Hello Kitty, Lulu Caty, Minnie, Marie, Bratz and Barbie for the girls. Boys can also choose from other popular favourites including Ben 10, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Cars; Princess, Dora and Winx form a part of the trendy line up for girls.
The popular Cars and Mickey character as well as Marie, Minnie and Dora are ideal for pre-schoolers, while Babyshop’s teen collection from Bambi and Dancing Queen to Pepe Jeans and Fortuner has lined up some exciting options for young adults.
Keeping up with the season’s football frenzy, Babyshop’s has a selection of Sound Bags with themes like Manchester United, Real Madrid and Brazil. These bags have speakers hidden in the outside pocket and when pressed activates a sound for 45 seconds.
Babyshop has also put together some value packs from Tom & Jerry, Smurfs, Transformers, Lalaupskey and Tweety. Including a selection of five different school must-haves, the value packs start at QR159.
Babyshop’s experts give some tips to shop smart before kids go back to school:
1) Start the year on a positive note: Look into what kids have outgrown or won’t need and pick a charity you’d like to help. Ensure your child feels a part of this activity.
2) Get down to the detail: Prepare a check-list of the essentials you need and the little additional items you think your kids might want. Make sure the school hasn’t already prescribed a list.
3) Stick to your list and to your budget: Try not to get swayed with so many available choices.
4) Take your little one on your shopping trip: What they liked last year may not be the trend this year. They’re pickier than you think.
5) Don’t forget the little items like pens or pencils, erasers, book covers, socks, shoe laces so you don’t have to make multiple trips to the store.
