Doha, Qatar: The Political Consultation Committee between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Foreign Ministry of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt held its second meeting in Doha yesterday.
Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi chaired the Qatari side at the meeting, while the Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs H E Ambassador Alaa Moussa chaired the Egyptian side.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest Arab and international developments and a number of issues of common concern, particularly the Palestinian cause.
The two sides stressed, during the meeting, the importance of enhancing joint efforts to achieve prosperity and development and to overcome the challenges facing the Arab region.
