Doha, Qatar: The Deputy Amir His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani received the credentials of two new ambassadors to the State of Qatar at his office in the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. 

His Highness received the credentials of HE Dr. Tauisi Minute Taupo, Ambassador of Tuvalu, and HE Theon Ali, Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda.

Deputy Amir received the credentials of the Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda.

His Highness the Deputy Amir welcomed the two ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties and expressing his hope for further development and growth in relations between the State of Qatar and their respective countries.

For their part, the two ambassadors conveyed to His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Deputy Amir the greetings of their respective heads of state and their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Qatari people. 

The Ambassadors were accorded official reception ceremony upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
