DOHA: The Central Municipal Council postponed its last regular session scheduled to be held yesterday to next Sunday for lack of quorum. Only 14 of 29 members turned up for the final session of the fourth term. Article 31 of the law regulating CMC sessions stipulates that if a session fails to meet the quorum, then the meeting is to be postponed or delayed for three days and the next meeting should be attended by one-third members with the same agenda.
