Doha, Qatar: Hamad International Airport announced its withdrawal from all external exhibitions, conferences, industry events, and awards programmes citing ongoing conflict in the region.
This was announced through a statement on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Hamad International Airport further confirmed that these events also include the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2026 and the Passenger Terminal Expo 2026 in London.
"The safety and wellbeing of our passengers, our staff, and their families is, and remains, our absolute priority," HIA said.
"We thank our aviation partners and stakeholders for their continued support."
