QSE index begins yesterday's transactions in green zone

DOHA: The Qatar Stock Exchange index started yesterday's trading with a rise of 15.62 points, a growth of 0.14 percent, to rise to the level of 11095 points, compared to the closing of Wednesday's trading.

Data issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange showed an increase in the performance of the banking and financial services sector by 1.24 percent, the goods and consumer services sector by 0.36 percent, the transport sector by 0.12 percent, and the industrial sector by 0.07 percent, while the insurance sector witnessed stability by 0.00 percent. In contrast, the real estate sector declined by 0.03 percent, followed by the telecommunications sector by 0.95 percent.

At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 52.042 million, distributed among 12,546 million shares, with the implementation of 1,854 transactions.
