PHCC delegation attends annual primary care meet in Liverpool

A Delegation from Primary Health Care Corporation Qatar (PHCC) led by its Managing Director, Dr Mariam Abdul Malik, attended the annual primary care conference hosted by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) in Liverpool, which concluded on Saturday.
The conference held under the theme ‘Forward Together: How we lead primary care to the next level,’ discussed the most prominent developments in primary care. It included more than 46 panel discussions and lectures focusing on topics including national health strategies, and health problems.
The delegation from PHCC included Dr Samya Al Abdullah, Executive Director of Operation; Dr Zulaikha Al Wahidi, Executive Director of Training and Workforce Development; Dr Hamad Al Madahka, Executive Director Assistant for Service Development; and Dr Hamda Qutba, Director of Scientific Research.
On the sidelines of the conference, a meeting was held between Dr Abdul Malik and the Head of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Director of International Projects at the College, President Terry Kemple.
