Minister of Finance H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada H E Anita Anand on the sidelines of Minister Al Kuwari’s participation in the Canada Investment Summit, being held in Toronto, Canada, on September 14 and 15.
The meetings focused on bilateral relations were reviewed and aspects of co-operation were discussed, as well as issues of common concern.
Separately, Minister Al Kuwari also met Minister of Finance and National Revenue of Canada Francois-Philippe Champagne and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock Larry Fink. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a range of financial and economic topics, as well as developments in the current regional and international landscape and challenges associated with them.
