Doha: Chairman of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya H E Dr. Mohamed Al Menfi affirmed that the aggression against the State of Qatar is an assault on the entire Arab and Islamic nation and a heinous crime that his country rejects by all means.
In his speech at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha Monday, His Excellency emphasised Libya’s affirmation of full solidarity with the sisterly State of Qatar, stressing the unity and shared destiny of the Arab and Islamic nations.
He stressed that the attack on Doha is inseparable from the campaign of genocide in Gaza and the escalation against Lebanon, Syria, and Iran, revealing the occupying entity’s disregard for international law and the sovereignty of states.
He stressed the need for Arab and Islamic countries to take a unified position in the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly to hold the occupation authorities accountable for their hostile practices and crimes against the Palestinian people, including starvation, the killing of doctors and journalists, and the targeting of places of worship and hospitals.
He also emphasized that this condemnation must mobilize international support to halt these violations.
