At Shantiniketan Indian School,  Shahanaz Noorudeen, Member of the School Management Committee, unfurled the Indian national flag to mark the Independence day celebrations. Students and staff of Shantiniketan Indian School participated in the celebrations organised by Embassy of India at the Indian Cultural Centre.
