Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic diversion on F-Ring Road to enable the construction of a bridge linking F-Ring Road with Al Wakra Bypass (Doha Express Highway).
The detour starts on Monday, July 17, 2017 and lasts until Q4, 2018.
During the realignment period, road users on F-Ring Road heading for Hamad International Airport will be able to use a parallel route with three lanes instead of four lanes for a short distance of approximately 1,850 metres, as illustrated in the map.
Ashghal said that the speed limit will be reduced to 80 kilometres per hour in place of 100 kilometres per hour.
Ashghal urged that all road users to obey the new speed limit and follow the new signage installed by Ashghal for their safety.
