Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has recalled 2013 models of Toyota FJ due to a defect in the steering column.
In a statement, the ministry said the recall is part of its efforts to protect consumer rights and ensure dealers comply with regulations concerning maintenance of vehicles and fixing of defects.
The ministry said it will coordinate with the distributor of Toyota cars on the maintenance and fixing of the defect.
It urged consumers to report any irregularities to Consumer Protection Department, which receives complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its various channels.
