Doha, Qatar: Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) successfully organised its Qirat competition, “Echoes of Devotion – Edition 2,” under the esteemed patronage of Principal Ch. Muhammad Afzal. The event brought together students and faculty in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, celebrating the beauty and precision of Qur’anic recitation.
A total of 45 students participated across three categories, delivering memorised recitations with remarkable command over Tajweed, pronunciation, and voice modulation.
Among the girls, winners included Maryam Siddiqullah, Eshal Amir, Inaya Tehreem, Hareem Kashif, Haleema Ahmed, Maria Abdul Rehman, Summaya Burhan, Haiqa Masood, Parishey Fatima, and Meeram Eshal.
In the boys’ category, top performers included Umar Mustafa, Muaaz Zia Ur Rehman, Mohammed Faisal, Ashman Jamil, Yasir Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Saifullah, Fozan Siddeq, Muhammad Abubakar Qureshi, and Muhammad Hamza Younas.
The competition was judged with transparency and fairness, and participants impressed the audience with their confidence and devotion. Winners were awarded trophies, while all participants received certificates of appreciation.
Organised by Azmina Saheef, the event stood as a testament to PISQ’s commitment to nurturing spiritual growth, discipline, and excellence, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.
