Maiduguri: At least 22 people were killed on Wednesday when two women blew themselves up during morning prayers at a mosque in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri, rescuers officials told AFP.
Borno State Emergency Management Agency spokesman Abdullahi Omar confirmed the attack, without giving details, but a source at the organisation added: "So far 22 people have been confirmed dead and 35 others injured."
