‘Rhythm’- the talent hunt of Ideal Indian School concluded with a prize distribution ceremony held recently. Principal Syed Shoukath Ali along with Heads of Sections gave away the trophies and certificates to the winners.
More than 2,000 students from Junior, Boys and Girls Sections took part in this year long talent recognition exercise. Divided in four categories – Sub-junior, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior - competitions were conducted in 30 events ranging from performing arts to painting, vocal and instrumental music, classical and folk dances, songs, dramatics, poem recitation, public speaking, spell bee, Henna Designing, Rangoli etc. This year, competitions on Photography and Short film were also introduced. There were Quran memorisation, Tajweed and Adhan exclusively for Muslim students.
Vice Principal, Girls’ Section Padma Ramaswamy, Vice Principal, Boys’ Section Vidhyasanker, Headmistress Junior Section Shobhana Menon, Headmaster Boys’ Section Azam Khan, Headmistress Girls’ Section Nazima Bi, Asst Headmistress Junior Section Parveen Taj and Activity coordinators attended the function.
