London: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met Shadow Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom H E John Healey here yesterday.
The meeting discussed topics of mutual interest and military cooperation and relations between the two sides and ways to strengthen and develop them.
The region’s latest developments were also reviewed, particularly the Israeli war on Gaza, in which they discussed Qatar’s role in mediation, ensuring a ceasefire and stopping the war on Gaza. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials from both sides.
