Doha: MES Indian School organised a landmark national celebration by forming a human display of the State of Qatar’s flag, with the participation of 7,700 students, as part of the country’s National Day festivities, observed annually on December 18. The initiative reflected deep feelings of loyalty, pride, and belonging to the homeland.


Students from all educational stages took part in the meticulously organized formation, standing in precise rows to recreate the Qatari flag in its maroon and white colors.
The striking visual tableau embodied the spirit of national unity and highlighted the students’ appreciation for the State of Qatar, its wise leadership, and their pride in being part of this nation.
The school administration emphasised that the event aligns with its commitment to instilling the values of citizenship and national identity among students, while encouraging their active engagement in national celebrations.

It added that the initiative reflects the Indian community’s shared joy in celebrating Qatar’s National Day alongside the nation, and underscores the strong sense of social cohesion that distinguishes Qatari society.
At the conclusion of the event, the school administration, faculty, and students extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the leadership, government, and people of the State of Qatar on the occasion of National Day, wishing the country continued security, progress, and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir.
