Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received the credentials of five new ambassadors to the State of Qatar this morning at his office in the Amiri Diwan.
His Highness received the credentials of HE Leila Adhieu Martin Manil, Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan; HE Bilal Kabalan, Ambassador of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon; and HE Christos Kapodistrias, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic.

His Highness also received the credentials of HE Varlam Avaliani, Ambassador of Georgia, and HRH Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Ambassador of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Highness the Amir welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties and further development and growth in the relations between the State of Qatar and their respective countries.


For their part, the ambassadors conveyed to His Highness the Amir the greetings of their heads of state and their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Qatari people. An official reception ceremony was held for the ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
