Kia Qatar unveils new city facility

Doha: Not to be outdone amidst all of the memorable matches and experiences in town during the epic Qatar 2022 tournament, Al- Attiya Motors and Trading Co. (AMTC), official distributors of Kia in Qatar, unveiled the impressive renovation done in their Kia City facility recently. The inauguration was done in the presence of no less than Kia Corporation President & CEO - Ho-Sung Song, SVP-Global Operations Division – SangHyun Cho, AMTC Chairman – Abdulaziz Mohd A Al Attiyah and AMTC President – Mohammad Maali.

The visit was a momentous one as it marked as the first time that a Kia facility in the Middle East was visited by the Kia President HS Song. Accompanying him and SVP SH Cho were Kia MEA President SH Chang and a host of staff from both the Kia leadership office and regional office teams. Joining AMTC Chairman Abdulaziz Al Attiyah and CEO Mohammad Maali were Chief Financial Officer Hanafi Hijab and the Kia Qatar brand management team and staff.

The 3 ‘S’ (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) facility, dubbed as ‘Kia City’, now reflects the new space identity that is defined by the design philosophy of ‘Opposites United’. Under this philosophy, the space moves away from the traditional dealer concepts to one that is filled with inspiration. With both warm and cold elements, customers can easily identify whether they are in either the display zone or customer zone.

In the display zone, named as such as this is where the stylish Kia cars are placed, the area is marked with metallic and reflective surfaces. This enables customers to focus on the cars and their distinct personality, unencumbered by distractions to take their eyes away from the cars. If the display tour gets tiring, customers can sit on the lounges nearby, admiring and pondering on the products in front of them, as one does in an art gallery.

Once a decision is made, one can then move into the customer zone which is a stark contrast with its warm and earthy tones. With a layout akin to one’s home, the area provides a customer and the Kia sales team with a chance to strike cozy, intimate and meaningful conversations centered on the display seen.

With a whole new experience provided, Kia placed a red infinity loop line in between the zones to serve as a mark that connects and contrasts the zones at the same time. 

Not to outdone, the After Sales areas are all warm customer zones, emphasizing the importance of current Kia owners to the brand, as they serve as ambassadors, not only customers.

With the relaunch of Kia City wrapped up, AMTC invites all Kia owners to visit the facility in the Industrial Area main road and make the most of the warm and inviting experience to not only pamper their beloved cars, but themselves as well.
