Doha: Al Shamal Municipality has opened a new beach for women in Al Ghariya area yesterday, in an effort to provide the “best services and preserve the privacy of visitors.”
The Al Mamlha beach is around 15,000 square meters in area and the main entrance is from the north side. It is completely fenced and provide with all basic facilities like toilets, guard rooms, umbrellas, barbecue places, garbage containers, rope barrier along the beach to prevent entry of water scooters.
The beach is very well illuminated with solar energy and security will be provided by female guards.
The beach will be open to female visitors daily from 9am to 10 pm.
