DOHA: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will open a new health centre in Laabeeb next month.
The facility combines a wide range of services, including a Medical Commission unit offering mandatory health check up for expatriates.
It is among the new wellness centres being developed in the country providing a holistic treatment, with facilities for sports and physical exercise, swimming pool and traditional spa.
Medical services include general clinics, vaccination unit, non-communicable diseases section, laboratories, pharmacy, dental services and X-ray, among others. It also has sections for mental health, ophthalmology and dermatology.
The PHCC is opening several new health centres with advanced facilities across the country to meet the increased demand for healthcare facilities.
New health centres were opened in Al Karana and Al Ghuwairiah last July.
