Doha, Qatar: Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) successfully organised the Science Exhibition Intra-Wing and Inter-House Competition 2025 across all wings recently.
The event served as an inspiring platform for students to display their creativity, research skills, and scientific knowledge. It reaffirmed PISQ’s strong commitment to nurturing inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and innovation among students.
The exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all wings of the school. In the Kindergarten Wing, twelve students presented four delightful projects, while in the Primary Wing, 1,330 students participated with 160 projects, reflecting remarkable curiosity and teamwork.
The Girls’ Wing showcased 120 impressive projects by 198 students, the Boys’ Wing presented 65 projects by 100 students, and the Cambridge Wing displayed 17 projects by 30 students, demonstrating a rich blend of research and experimentation.
The youngest scientists in the Kindergarten Wing stole hearts with their joyful exploration of science through play-based experiments. Projects such as Magic Colors, Volcano Eruption, and Rainbow in a Glass encouraged observation, prediction, and discovery in a fun and engaging way. In the Primary Wing, students’ work focused on themes of environmental preservation, renewable energy, and sustainable living. Projects like Water Filtration Plant and Vertical Gardening highlighted problem-solving skills and awareness about real-world issues.
The Girls’ Wing displayed creativity through innovative projects representing General Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics. The exhibits ranged from human biology and earth science to automation and environmental conservation, demonstrating teamwork, precision, and originality. In the Boys’ Wing, students impressed the visitors and judges with thought-provoking models such as DNA Model, Nuclear Power Plant, Water Purification System, Solar Detector, and Working Model of Lungs.
These projects reflected their ability to apply scientific knowledge practically and creatively. The Cambridge Wing, known for its academic depth, highlighted advanced concept-based projects such as Fire Fighting System and Anatomy of a Car, emphasizing logical reasoning, innovation, and presentation skills.
The event began with a detailed briefing session led by Azmina Saheef, Manager Events, who guided the judges on evaluation procedures and coordinated inter-wing communication. Cross-wing judging panels were formed to maintain impartiality and fairness. Principal Ch. Muhammad Afzal, accompanied by the Vice Principals, visited each wing, appreciating the students’ efforts and encouraging them for their future endeavors. The event was beautifully documented by Imaddudin, who captured the essence of the day through photography.
The Science Exhibition 2025 was a vibrant celebration of imagination, experimentation, and teamwork at Pakistan International School, Qatar.
