Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will start his state visit to several Asian countries on Sunday. He will first visit Malaysia, followed by Singapore and then Indonesia, at the invitation of leaders of these countries.
During the visits, the Emir will hold talks with the leaders of these countries and senior officials on bilateral relations and means of developing cooperation between the Qatar and these countries, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
A number of agreements and memorandums of understanding in various fields will be signed during the visits.
The Emir is accompanied by an official delegation.
In the framework of the Emir's visit to Malaysia, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in cooperation with the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry, will organize the Qatari-Malaysian Economic Forum in the capital Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
