Doha, Qatar: Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation (QF) partner university, recognised the outstanding academic performance of 164 students who were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester.
The Dean’s List ceremony is held twice each academic year to celebrate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in the previous semester, embodying the university’s commitment to consolidating a culture of excellence, diligence, and achievement.
Dean Michael Trick said, “Earning your place on the Dean’s List is not only a recognition of outstanding academic performance, “it reflects your passion for learning, your determination in facing academic challenges, and your continuous pursuit to develop your skills and broaden your horizons.”
The honourees include 41 first-years, 42 sophomores, 58 juniors, and 23 seniors, reflecting the broad reach of academic excellence and its deep-rooted culture among university students across all academic stages.
CMU-Q offers undergraduate degree programmes in artificial intelligence, biological sciences, business administration, computer science, and information systems.
