Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has invited families and residents to attend "Floaties Festival," a community event set to take place at 974 Beach on Friday, September 18.
In a social media post, the ministry described the event as a special beach day featuring a variety of fun and recreational activities in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
The programme will feature various activities, including free swimming zones dedicated for children and adults as well as a ladies only area.
The ministry said the event will have beach lifeguards avilable throughout the day, shower area and visitor rest area to create a warm and entertaining atmosphere while enjoying the beach setting.
Entry to the beach will be free for children under six years old and people with disabilities. Tickets for children aged under 14 will cost QR15, while adults will pay QR35.
