DOHA: Several health centres in Doha will work in double shifts during Eid Al Fitr holidays.
However, health centres in Umm Salal, Al Daayen, Airport, Karaana, Al Gharafa and Abu Nakhla will be closed during the holidays. Al Rayyan, Madinat Khalifa, Al Muntazah, Um Ghuwailina, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Omar Bin Al Khatab, West Bay and Museimeer centres will work in double shifts from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm except for Museimeer centre, which does not work on Friday mornings.
Dental services in these centres will be available at the same time except for the first day of Eid Al Fitr and Friday mornings.
Health centres in Al Khor, Al Shamal and Al Wakrah will be open from 7am to 11pm. But Al Khor and Al Shamal centres will be closed daily from 2pm to 4pm.
Al Shahania Health Centre will be open every day from 7am to 9pm, while centres in Al Jamiliyah, Al Kaaban, Al Ghuwairiya and Umm Bab will work on-call around the clock. For dental services, Al Wakrah Health Centre dental clinic will open daily from 7am to 2pm and 3pm to 9pm, except for the first day of Eid and Friday mornings.
At the centres in Al Khor, Al Shamal and Al Shahania, dental services will be available from 7am to 2pm, except for the first day of Eid. Dental service will not be available in Al Shamal and Al Shahania centres on Friday and Saturday. Specialised clinics such as ophthalmology and ear, nose and throat (ENT) clinics will operate daily during morning hours from today until July 25 (except for Friday and Saturday for ENT clinic and Friday (July 24) for the ophthalmology clinic).
The premarital screening programme at Al Rayyan Health Centre will operate on Sunday, July 19 and on Wednesday, July 22 from 7 am to 1pm.
Ministry of Interior
Several department at the Ministry of Interior will work during Eid Al Fitr holidays which begin today.
Throughout holidays until July 23, General Directorate of Nationality, Borders and Expatriate Affairs, General Directorate of Traffic, and Criminal Evidence and Investigation Department will be open from 8am to noon, the ministry said in a statement yesterday.
Qatar Stock Exchange
Qatar Stock Exchange said Eid Al Fitr holidays will be three working days from Sunday until Tuesday, Qatar News Agency reports. In a statement posted on its website, QSE said the market will resume trading on Wednesday, adding that this is based on directives from Qatar Financial Markets Authority.
