organises Iftar partyligarh Muslim University Alumni Association Qatar (AMUAAQ) organised an Iftar party at Grand Palace Hotel - Doha recently. Professor Shamim Ahmad, Ex Principal of women’s Polytechnic, AMU, was the chief guest and Shadab Khan, owner of Red-Dot Advertising Company was the guest of honour.
Danish Husain Khan compered the programme and Mohd Umar Ashraf, general secretary, delivered welcome address and also congratulated all Aligs for coming third in a Times Now survey.
Ziauddin Ahmad, vice-president of Alumni Association, spoke at the event. Aqil Mahmood compered the later part of the programme and Chief Guest was welcomed by the Senior Advisors of AMU Alumni Association Ahmed Bilal Ansari and Shahid Yar Khan. Ali Imran, President of AMUAAQ, delivered vote of thanks.
