Doha: The Advisory Council’s Public Services and Utilities Committee convened its weekly meeting under its Rapporteur Saqer Fahad Al Meraikhi yesterday.
It examined a draft law on conciliation of offences stipulated in some municipal laws.
Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, Assistant Under-Secretary, Public Service Affairs, Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, and Hamad Hadi Al Baridi, Director, Legal Affairs Department at the ministry, explained the ministry’s viewpoints on the draft law and answered queries. The panel decided to submit a report to the council. QNA
