DOHA: As part of efforts for the conservation of utilities, the Advisory Council today examined a draft law amending some of the provision of law no. 26 of 2008 on water and electricity rationalization of consumption.
The Minister of Energy and Industry HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada attended the meeting to describe the ministry's point of view on the law. The Minister also responded to questions from members of the committee.
The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Advisory Council held Monday a meeting during the council’s 43rd ordinary session under the presidency of its rapporteur Mohamed Ajaj Al Kubaisi, reports QNA.
The committee decided to present its report on the draft law to the Advisory Council.
