Campaign to remove abandoned vehicles launched in Al Khor

Doha: The Joint Committee for Removing Abandoned Vehicles launched a campaign to remove abandoned vehicles in Al Khor.
Ali Abdullah Khamis Al Muraikhi, Head of the General Control Department at Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality said that abandoned vehicles were seen in many places in Al Khor and its surroundings. “We urge citizens and residents not to leave their abandoned cars in public areas.”

The committee called on motorists to cooperate with the authorities concerned to accomplish their work in order to preserve the aesthetic appearance of the country.

To recall, the Joint Committee for Removing Abandoned Vehicles started implementing its action plan during the current year according to a well-studied plan after it was approved by Minister of Municipality. The Committee was restructured under Ministerial Resolution No. (91) for the year 2021 headed by Major General Ali Salman Al Mohannadi, Chairman of the Committee.
