Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the opening of the 17th edition of the Doha Forum at Doha Sheraton Hotel yesterday.
Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at Doha Sheraton Hotel yesterday with a number of Their Excellencies participants at the 17th session of Doha Forum.
The Emir met with President of the Republic of Sudan, Field Marshal Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir. During the meeting, the Emir reviewed fraternal relations and prospects of developing them, in addition to the most important topics on the agenda of the Forum.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and a number of Their Excellences the ministers.
The Emir met with President of the Republic of Mali, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, and discussed bilateral relations and their development aspects, in addition to the most important topics tabled on the agenda of the Forum.
The Emir also met with Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, Saad Al Hariri. Emir and Saad Al Hariri reviewed bilateral relations and means of supporting them, in addition to the most important topics on the agenda of the Forum.
The Emir received a written message from President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them.
The message was handed over by Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Ali Khayre, when the Emir met him at the Sheraton Hotel on the sidelines of the 17th Doha Forum.
The meetings were attended by the Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
Emir also met with the former President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga; Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica, Manuel Gonzalez Sanz, Foreign Minister of Malaysia, Dato Sri' Hanifah Aman; and Executive Vice-President of the Brookings Institution Martin Indyk.
During the meeting, they reviewed a number of topics on the agenda of the forum and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
