DOHA: Ooredoo has announced two major upgrades for customers looking to top-up their mobile data, with data recharges now available on the Ooredoo website and the popular Ooredoo Mobile App.
The move comes as demand for mobile data continues to rise in Qatar, as more people use smartphones and mobile devices to access the Internet wherever they are in Qatar.
Currently, customers can top-up data on their Hala and Shahry packs with Scratch Cards and E-Vouchers from Ooredoo Shops or authorised dealers. With the launch of the new methods, customers can recharge their data at any time, and anyplace — without having to visit a shop.
Hala and Shahry customers can now also purchase direct data top-ups on the Ooredoo website by paying with credit card and via the Ooredoo app, adding a new level of convenience, with the app offering customers the choice of either paying by credit card or via Shahry Bill or Hala balance.
More customers are using and topping-up their data allowance.
