Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has highlighted its initiatives aimed at empowering the national workforce and promoting family stability as Qatar marks Family Day today, April 15, 2026.

In a social media post, the Ministry noted that it continues to focus on empowering and training national talent through more than 10 specialised programmes and professional development pathways designed to enhance job readiness and expand employment opportunities in the private sector.

It said these initiatives underscore continued investment in skills that positively support family stability.

The Ministry also highlighted the ‘Istamer’ digital platform, launched in September 2023, which supports retired individuals seeking to re-enter the workforce by helping them find roles in private institutions aligned with their expertise.

On social media, the Ministry reaffirmed its ongoing efforts to empower retirees and strengthen society by creating opportunities for experienced professionals.
