The Commercial Avenue organized a number of sports activities and events in celebration of Qatar’s National Sports Day, which was held this year under the slogan “The Choice is Yours”, with the participation from both employees and tenants of the company (sponsors):

The events were held at the Commercial Avenue premises in front of the Jood Mall building, where employees and tenants (sponsors) participated in a variety of challenging sporting and recreational activities. These activities included running and walking races, fitness exercises, and other recreational games and activities.
The events were attended by The Commercial Avenue employees, as well as all participating and sponsors.
On this occasion, a spokesperson for the Commercial Avenue confirmed that National Sports Day was instrumental in making sports an integral part of our daily lifestyle, which will in turn elevate society’s physical and psychological health. He added that the State of Qatar was proactive in elevating the status of sports through its National Vision for 2030 and its National Development Strategy, pointing out that the National Sports Day raises awareness surrounding our health and safety, and further promotes the Sports culture as a way of life, and indicated that the National Sports Day is quite monumental as it comes on the heels of the great success of hosting The historic World Cup Qatar 2022.
He added, “The Commercial Avenue is always keen on celebrating all major sporting events, and contributes to supporting the country’s vision which focuses on raising a healthy society and citizens citizen, who will in turn help in further advancing the country through its productivity and helping in building a promising future for Qatar, and so we work tirelessly and devote all our capabilities and resources to serve the citizens and residents of this great country.”
The winners of all competitions were awarded medals, in conclusion of the momentous occasion, and employees and tenants (sponsors) also expressed their gratitude for participating in the organized sporting events.
