Beirut: The Israeli occupation army continued its attacks on Lebanon on Thursday.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes targeted two buildings in the town of Sohmor, eastern Lebanon.

Earlier Thursday, the occupation army launched a series of attacks on southern Lebanon, carrying out airstrikes on several homes in various towns in the Marjeyoun district.

A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on November 27, 2024, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days.

Following this, the Beirut government agreed to extend the deadline until February 18. However, the occupation army remains in five locations and continues its violations, which have exceeded 7,000 aerial violations and more than 2,400 military activities in the UNIFIL area of operations in southern Lebanon since last November.
