Doha Equestrian Tour unveils brand identity and logo

Doha, Qatar: The Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 Organising Committee has unveiled the tour’s new brand identity and logo, reflecting the 10 rounds that make up this year’s edition and embodying the tournament’s deep connection to equestrian heritage and the sporting excellence that distinguishes Doha on the international stage.

On the occasion, Khalifa Al Attiyah (pictured), Executive Director of the Doha Equestrian Tour, said the tour’s identity and logo are based on a strategic vision aimed at enhancing Qatar’s presence on the global equestrian map. He noted that the tour has consistently enriched the international equestrian calendar with high-quality competitions, reinforcing Qatar’s position as a capital of sport and a premier destination for hosting major international equestrian championships.

Al Attiyah also highlighted that Qatar’s advanced infrastructure, including modern arenas and world-class sports facilities designed to international standards such as Al Shaqab, represents a fundamental pillar of the tour and contributes significantly to its continued success.

The Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 includes 10 international championships ranging from one- to five-star events, running from January 2 to April 4, 2026, with a total prize purse exceeding €10m. The series opens with the H H The Father Amir’s Cup equestrian event, which runs from January 2 to 31, 2026, and comprises four rounds across one- to five-star categories.

This will be followed by the H H The Amir’s Sword International Equestrian Festival, beginning on February 11 and running for four days, featuring one-, three- and five-star competitions, in addition to dressage events.

The sixth championship on the calendar is the Al Shaqab International Championship (CHI), sponsored by Longines, scheduled from February 18 to 21. The event will feature show jumping, dressage and para-dressage competitions across one-, three- and five-star categories.

The seventh championship is the Longines Global Champions Tour, to be held from March 4 to 7, featuring one-star, three-star and five-star competitions.

The organising committee also announced the introduction of three new championships to the tour: the Qatar Olympic Committee Cup, the Al Shaqab Cup and the Qatar Equestrian Federation Cup.

The Qatar Olympic Committee Cup will serve as the eighth championship, starting on March 11 and running for four days, with one-star, two-star and five-star competitions.

The Al Shaqab Cup, the ninth championship of the tour, will begin on March 26 and run for three days, featuring competitions from one-star to five-star levels, including team events across various categories.

The final event, the Qatar Equestrian Federation Cup, will conclude the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026. The championship will feature one-star to five-star competitions and will begin on April 2, running for three days.
