Director of the Department of Endowments, Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Thani honouring representative of a winning firm at a ceremony.
Doha: The Department of Endowments at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs honoured the winning consulting offices in the competition to design the largest charitable endowment projects in Qatar, which is Jabal Thuaileb Endowment project in Lusail.
On this occasion, Director of the Department of Endowments, Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Thani, expressed his appreciation to the companies participating in this vital and distinguished real estate project at all levels. He explained that the project will be implemented on an area of about 70,000 square metres, and will include about 900 housing units.
He noted that the project will be an endowment landmark, pointing to the quality and beauty of the designs, and indicated that the nomination of the winners was based on several criteria, the most important of which are: the aesthetic criterion, the space utilisation, and the cost, noting that the foundation stone of the project will be laid during the next period.
