Sharm El-Sheikh: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met today with a number of Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses, heads of state and heads of delegations and governments of brotherly and friendly countries participating in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit at the International Conference Center in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt.
HH the Amir met with HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt HE President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic of Turkiye HE President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and President of the French Republic HE President Emmanuel Macron.
His Highness also met with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom HE Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic HE Giorgia Meloni, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany HE Friedrich Merz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and a number of senior officials and heads of delegations.
During the meetings held on the sidelines of the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, views were exchanged on the most prominent topics on the summit's agenda, particularly those related to the agreement to end the war in Gaza, the flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip, and support for peace and security in the region.
Means of supporting and strengthening cooperation and relations within the international community in various fields were also reviewed, in addition to discussing regional and international developments of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir.
