DOHA: As part of the Youth Summer Program, the Fire Station: Artist in Residence initiative is organizing a workshop entitled "Hey, It is Moving!" exploring traditional and digital animation.
The workshop will take place from August 21 until August 25, for ages 14 and above.
It will be held in the Education Studio at the Fire Station, and will aim to teach participants on how to create an animated piece using a favorite daily object and adopt a narrative approach that reflects different impressions of surroundings.
The Youth Summer Program was launched on July 31st and will continue until September 1st, and includes activities organized weekly, five times a week, with different set of workshops.
The purpose since its inception was and still is, to discover new artistic talents, and provide them with guidance from artists of various art specializations.
