Doha, Qatar: The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation has announced the appointment of Ali Ibrahim Al Gharib as Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, effective June 1, 2026.
The appointment comes as part of the Foundation’s strategic efforts to enhance operational efficiency and further develop its charitable and humanitarian work system in support of its mission and to strengthen the impact of its programs and projects at both the local and international levels.
Ali Al Gharib brings with him 25 years of leadership and management experience in the fields of charitable and development work, as well as the social welfare sector. Throughout his professional career, he has held several influential leadership positions, most notably at Qatar Charity, including Director of the Resource Development Department and Director of the Public Relations and Media Department.

H E Sheikh Jaber bin Yousuf bin Jassim Al Thani, stated that the appointment of Ali Ibrahim Al Gharib as CEO aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to attracting and empowering young Qatari talent, recognising its pivotal role in advancing charitable work in line with the Foundation’s aspirations and humanitarian mission.
He added that Al Gharib possesses an outstanding professional track record in both charitable and social work, as well as strong administrative capabilities and leadership skills that will support the Foundation’s continued growth and enhance its performance.
For his part, Ali Al Gharib expressed his deep appreciation for the confidence placed in him by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. He affirmed his commitment to further strengthening the Foundation’s position and leadership in the field of charitable and humanitarian work, while building upon the significant achievements it has realized over twenty-five years of continuous service.
