Doha: The State of Qatar participated on Thursday in the ninth meeting of the GCC Permanent Ministerial Preparatory Committee for the Economic and Development Affairs Authority, held via videoconference.
Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari led the State of Qatar's delegation to the meeting that brought together Their Excellencies the GCC ministers of finance and economy.
The session focused on several priority economic and development issues aimed at deepening Gulf integration and fostering sustainable development across the region.
Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation to implement the economic visions of GCC countries, with the goal of boosting regional competitiveness and supporting economic diversification and growth.
The committee also reviewed the annual report of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority, evaluating key initiatives and programs designed to strengthen joint Gulf action and accelerate economic integration efforts among member states.
