Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held yesterday a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt H E Sameh Shoukry.
They discussed relations between the two brotherly countries, the recent escalation of the situation in the Palestinian territories, and the Egyptian efforts towards de-escalation.
H E the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar’s condemnation of the Israeli bombardment of civilian facilities and homes in Gaza, while welcoming the cease-fire agreement reached yesterday.
