DOHA: Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced that a traffic diversion will be in place on part of Al Kassarat Street in the industrial area in the direction from Roundabout 15 towards Roundabout 10 starting Saturday and will last six months, Ashghal said in a statement.
The diversion is part of the developmental works being carried out in the Industrial Area. The other direction of the street has been widened to a two-way street.
The project aims to increase the capacity of roads and support the traffic flow, in addition to providing the area with integral infrastructure, Ashghal said as it apologized for any inconvenience and urged road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs to ensure their safety.
