Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Tuesday, gaining 49.53 points, or 0.47%, to reach 10,674 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by most sectors.
Market data showed gains in the Real Estate sector by (+1.06), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.74%), Industrials (+0.72%), Transportation (+0.56%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.40%). On the other hand, the performance was negative for Telecoms by (-0.40%) and Insurance by (-0.53%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 133.411 million, with 60.977 million shares traded in 5,518 transactions.
