Doha: Representatives of the Serbian company “Pro-ing” from Novi Sad, led by the company’s director Goran Vukobratović, were on a study visit to Qatar, 10-13. February. As part of their technical-study stay in Qatar, and based on the mediation of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, they had a several-hour visit to the magnificent “Al Janub” stadium in Al Wakra.
The company “Pro-ing” presented a successful business in the performance of works at several stadiums in R. Serbia, in Loznica, Kragujevac, Leskovac, and they also participated in the renovation of the “Karađorđe” stadium in Novi Sad. They are also engaged in designing the construction of hospitals, schools, water purification plants, etc.
A meeting was held with Hamad Nasser Al Khalifa, Director of Development Management of the Qatari Medical Corporation “Hamad”, followed by a study-professional visit and a tour of the wastewater treatment plant, located within the Qatar Public Works Authority, “Ashgal”. A meeting was also held with Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mulla, investment relations specialist at the Qatar Investment Promotion Agency.
The representatives of the company “Pro-ing” also had a joint working meeting with the management of the renowned Serbian company “Energoprojekt-Entel”, who conveyed the results of decades of successful work in Qatar and the experience of performing on the Qatari market.
Charge d’affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the State of Qatar Slobodan Radeka took an active part in all the meetings, supported the development of investment, trade and business cooperation between economic entities of the two countries, with special emphasis on the importance of holding the constituent session of the Business Council between Serbia and Qatar, which, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce of Qatar, expected at the beginning of May, in Doha.
